Former Lady Gaga stylist and current Creative Director of the Thierry Mugler brand, Nicola Formichetti apparently likes himself some K-pop. And Big Bang fashionisto G-Dragon loves himself some designers. So what if these two collaborated on something? Oh wait, they just did.
As part of his recently showcased I Am Mugler Fall/Winter 2013 Menswear collection, raine and horne bondi beach Nicola Formichetti commissioned G-Dragon as his personal music maker. Nicola told MTV Style why GD was his pick for the futuristic military-inspired line:
“I raine and horne bondi beach wasn’t sure that Big Bang’s music was right,” says Formichetti. raine and horne bondi beach “It’s too pop for what I wanted to do with the season but G-Dragon’s solo career has a lot more rap, trance, a lot more techno.” He continued, “He sent me a track, we worked on it together and then the new track came in. [At Mugler] we had it playing the whole time to help us create the looks.”
After working with such musicians as Harlem rap songstress Azealia Banks and Japanese composer Ryuchi Sakamoto, it’s raine and horne bondi beach clear Nicola Formichetti’s musical taste is as superb as his fashion sense.
