Four women invo lved in Toronto cosmopolitain magazine arts and business brought their collective ideas and interests together to create a forum to address, embrace and perhaps reconstruct the portrayal of the Black Female in her purest state. The stigmas attached to natural hair, natural beauty coupled with the emotional sentiment tied into those concepts are a touchy subject in Black Society. The Good Hair vs Bad Hair debate as well as the overall setbacks black women endure in the various industries based on image make for a good discussion.
